B.G. And The Chopper City Boyz Prep New Compilation Album
Former Cash Money Records member B.G. and his group, The Chopper City Boyz are set to release a new compilation album this August.
The album which is named “Life In The Concrete Jungle” includes music from B.G., The Chopper City Boyz, Alfamega, Blood Raw, Hurricane Chris, C-Murder, Skip and Lady Dolla.
B.G. says that now the Chopper City Boyz are more widely known he believes that people are anticipating new music from the group.
“Everybody knows The Chopper City Boyz in the south because they’ve made appearances on my last four studio albums before releasing their own debut album, We Got This,” said B.G. “People were waiting for something from them.”
B.G. says that the artists loyalty and willingness to work hard to achieve success is what persuaded him to sign them to his label.
“I decided to sign them to Chopper City Records because they showed me their loyalty as artists” he said. “They were willing to put in the hard work that it takes to make it in this industry.”
According to B.G. the group have “Stepped their game up” for the new 17 track compilation, and The CEO of Chopper City Records, Carol Dorsey has said that fans will get to hear “a more advanced, more mature Chopper City Boyz.”
“We got enough banga’s for their second album that we could afford to put a compilation of even more hot tracks for the streets.” said B.G. “The streets have spoken! They’re ready for more of Snipe and Gar, so as the head nigga in charge, we gonna give ‘em a little taste on how they comin’ for their second album!”
Life in the Concrete Jungle is currently due for release on August 26th.
