Q-Tip’s Renaissance is Coming

After years of anticipation and delays, Q-Tip is ushering in the Renaissance, his first “official” sophomore LP since 1999’s Amplified.

According to Billboard.com, The Renaissance (Universal Motown) will finally hit stores. The nine-track LP will feature contributions from D’Angelo, Raphael Saadiq, and Norah Jones. Q-Tip’s last album, 1999’s Amplified has sold 675,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen Soundscan, and reached No. 4 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

The Native Tongue bred MC is currently on the Rock the Bells tour with his fomer group A Tribe Called Quest.
